STOP! Please read my profile. My name is Heidi and I have a sad but true story to share with you. A few years ago, at the age of 28, I had to undergo two emergency open heart surgeries, a stroke and a massive heart attack. My doctor told me that the artificial porcine mitral valve should only last approximately 5 years. I am currently serving a ten year sentence due to a property crime. Prior to coming to prison, I had a preconceived notion that only bad people went to prison.

I'm a good girl in a bad situation. I've had a healthy upbringing, I'm well traveled, and have a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Oregon. But due to an impulsive mistake, I'm stuck in this lonely place, fighting for my life everyday. I want everyone to know that they are loved and should love with no regrets. Try to live each day to the fullest. I'm reaching out to try to make a difference in someone's life, or for you to make an impact in my remaining life. I'll talk to you soon.
