Since 1998 we have been very successful in helping thousands of inmates with their loneliness by finding them pen pals. We have over 2,000 (men and women) inmates listed. You will have your own web page with a color photo as well as description. You decide what goes on the page. We are only the means by which you get it published. A photo is highly recommended as the response with ads without photos is very poor. The original photo will be returned along with confirmation of ad being posted. Rules and Information:

1. You must notify us of any change of address. If we receive reports of returned letters it may be necessary to stop running your ad. Address changes, corrections to ad, are free, however, if you want to change your photo and/or rewrite your ad during the 12 month period there will be a five dollar additional charge at that time.     Please try and keep the ad under 250 words.
2. Please advise us of a change in your release date. If you are estimating your time of release after gain time please specify that on your application. Your ad will be removed according to the release date.
3. A web page is like an electronic newspaper or magazine with a circulation that reaches all around the entire world. We are listed at or near the top of most of the Internet search engines and also employ paid advertising to insure adequate traffic to produce results. However, we cannot guarantee how many responses you will receive if any.
4. A friend or relative can submit your ad and photo for you and pay the fee. Only you can cancel the ad or make any changes once the ad is placed. 5. If you experience more mail than you can handle please advise us and we can cancel or put a hold on your ad until further notice.
6. We make very few changes to the wording of an ad other than correcting spelling errors; however, we reserve the right to edit, delete, reject, or change wording in any ad. No profanity or adult content is permitted. If we discover you sent in a photo that was not of you or gave false information on your application, we will remove your ad without refund.
7. Do not ask your pen pals for money.
8. Once we go to the expense of scanning your photo and building the web page there will be no refunds. There is no discount if your sentence is less than 12 months.
9. We will send you a copy of your ad as it appears on the Internet. Please check for errors. If you want your confirmation to go elsewhere please specify address. Some prisons do not allow copies of ad or Polaroid photos to be sent into prison.
10.   We will accept stamps as payment, but highly prefer a money order. In New York State inmates are prohibited from using stamps as a form of payment.
