Hello, my name is Decis Cheverson and I am incarcerated at Dixon Correctional Center. In meeting you in print I wish you to receive me in all clarity, studying my words for the sake of the faith and passion that is within me. By looking beyond labels seeking to consider a far better indication of my true character the independence of my spirit and my rugged self reliance. I don't pretend to be a divine man, but I do believe in divine guidance and divine power. I am extremely active, outgoing, self motivated and and always ready to encounter a new challenge. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music (Pop, R&B, Rap and Salsa), reading fiction and non\fiction novels. While engulfed in my creative writing, I am a firm believer of romance and love. Most of all I like to work out to keep my body in shape. I am looking to meet a woman who is intelligent, intellectual, strong who can hold her own, while engaged in a meaningful dialogue, allowing herself to express her views, thoughts and feelings, but not be so overwhelmed that one becomes judgmental. Someone that is not afraid to step outside of the norm. Not allowing the standard of society to define or dictate what is morally right or wrong, just or suitable. Someone who will listen, by letting their actions to speak, knowing how to agree to disagree, who values friendship and it's substance, while exploring, understanding and compassionate. I've never been involved in many relationships, but never in a mental one, where she is just a friend, learning the essential aspects of how I feel when I am down, while helping me up with knowledge and sincerity, not caring how it will be perceived, be it good, bad, or indifferent. If there is something I've said between the lines that has peeked your curiosity, then don't just let it rest there. From me to you. I've spoken.
