My name is Derik Provstgaard. I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm incarcerated in Phoenix, Arizona at a federal prison. I'm doing about 2 1/2 - 3 more years for carjacking. I've been down 2 years. I'm looking for pen pals to basically break the monotony of everyday prison life, and to make new friends with women who would like to exchange life experiences with me. I'm 26 years old, I love to do physical activities like lifting weights and playing sports. If only I could keep my good habits once I it the streets, I'll be alright, and I do plan on it.

I'm a single man, have never been married, and have no kids. I guess the lifestyle I've lived could have something to do with that. I believe things happen for a reason, so I guess that life's not for me yet. Hopefully someday!
