Tall, Handsome, Smart, Loving with a sene of humor that would put a smile on your face.
As we go through life it is hope that allows us to live out each day... without apprehension of what lies ahead of us tomorrow. Without such hope what would our lives be? How would it feel to wake up in the morning and think to ourselves, "there is nothing left for me to hope for. Nothing in life for me to look forward to?" Try to imagine just what a miserable existence this would be. I can think of nothing worse... not even death itself.
While I sit here in this cell and stare at these four walls that surround me. From one cell away I can hear the sounds of hopelessness. It is there where people in prison list all hope for tomorrow. Are locked behind steal doors in concrete cages. These are the forgotten ones. Forgotten by family, friends, society and even forgotten by prison officials except for two times each day when meals are passed through a small opening in their cell doors. We all need reason to keep hopes alive. During my 13 years of being locked away behind these prison walls, it is thoughts of past days shared with family and friends that keep me striving towards another tomorrow.
I want to make new memories and not be a forgotten sould anymore. Send me a letter and lets see what happens. I cant' wait to hear from you! :)
