I am a 62 year old inmate in the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Corrections. I lived in society unitil the age of 55 with no criminal history. My professional career consisted of providing individual, couples, family and group therapy in a variety of mental health settings. I also taught college courses in the areas of psychology and religion.
My sons are aged 24 and 21. In 2009, I committed a completely uncharacteristic criminal offense that a nationally renowned expert in forensic neuropharmacology theorized may have been caused by an involuntary intoxication resulting from the severe adverse side effects of two contraindicated medications that had been prescribed to me. My circuit court judge unfairly would not appoint this expert, who wanted to work with my defense.
In 2017, I intend to retain an effective attorney and this expert to present my case to the governor of Virginia. I am currently working on my third book and will be seeking to publish my childhood memoir. I have also written a serious comedy about the American criminal justice system and oxymoronic prison life. My personal interests include music, tennis, reading, movies, plays, travel, spirituality, and current events. I look forward to hearing from and will respond to anyone who would like to establish a sincere friendship.
