I am looking to form and establish a lasting friendship that is vibrant, beautiful, and deep I am a creative and ambitious man who enjoys smiling and having fun.

Recently a lightbulb moment occurred in my life. I realized we all are seeking to be recognized by our peers and even more specifically, we all are seeking to be special. Special is defined as 1: uncommon, noteworthy 2: particularly favored 3: readily distinguishable from others of the same category, unique.

So, the lightbulb came on for me when I accepted the fact that I want to be special to someone and have someone be special to me. Being special does not have to mean romantic involvement at all. Having special people in our lives happens naturally and organically and it can’t be forced. But, we also have to be brave enough to overcome the fear of being hurt to allow special people to come into our lives. You took a step towards being special by coming here to this site and I hope you find someone you can share with and be vulnerable with. I want for you what I want for myself. And that is to be special as defined above.

I enjoy being active by hiking, swimming, and playing sports. Watching good movies is great. I also enjoy defying stereotypes. Here are a few examples. I have a Ph.D.; my favorite TV show is “So You Think You Can Dance.” I am 7% Scandinavian, 2% Irish/Scotland, and 2% English. I’m a published poet and I cofounded a nonprofit called prisonisnotcool.org, check it out if you like. The following is what I am looking for and what I want to be a part of. “Social support is defined as having a network of people that supports your endeavors, contribute positively to your decision-making processes, and are there for you when you need help. Scientists have suggested that people with this kind of network around them can transcend even the worst environments and accomplish great things. Unfortunately, people who don’t have this type of network have a harder time accomplishing even modest goals.” Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you. God bless and be safe.
