John Johns #1551763
Boyd Unit
P. O. Box 660400
Dallas, Texas 75266

Yes, that is my real name. So, you can be sure I do have a sense of humor. I really want someone who enjoys life and is willing to share a little of theirs with me. I don’t have a more recent picture but if you’ll add 21 years and remove 40 lbs. I’ll be what’s left.

I want to write to women, simply because I miss them. I can walk out of my cell and talk with men 24/7. I was lonely for awhile when a woman began writing me. We wrote for almost 11 years and became close. I lost her recently and it is painful. So, as I contemplate several more years, I don’t want to go back to feeling alone.

My family loves and supports me. But it is just not the same as having a friend to share your feelings with open and honestly. I look forward to the joy of building trust and sharing our experiences together.

If you’re on the verge, please know this, the fact you’re even considering writing is more than enough for me to want to know you. I really don’t have any unrealistic expectations. I honestly just need a friend. And I want to be a friend, too. I can’t be there for you now, but I am right here for you…..just waiting.
