I'm nothing like the other people on this website. If you're looking for a convict stereotype, go on to the next guy. I was born in Austin, and came to prison as a teenager. It was probably the best thing that could have happened to me. While I wasn't much more than a pot-head scumbag before incarceration, I'm now a musician (piano and guitar), a writer, a public speaker, a teacher, a counselor, and I'm finishing a bachelor's degree with the intention of moving on to my master's. Most importantly, I have grown into a man that I can be proud of being, thanks be to God.

I'm a bit of a nerd, although not of the common type. I'm as into Wu Tang Clan and Fat Pat as I am Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings; Ed Sheeran and Willie Nelson as reading Shakespeare or Plato. My interests are wide. I'd like to meet other artists of all kinds, spiritual people of all kinds, and anyone generally trying to do something with their lives. I'm honest and opinionated, but I'm also down to learn from other's perspectives.
