Dear Future Friend:

My name is William Light, and I'm writing from Jefferson City Correctional Center in search of a meaningful connection with someone who values genuine friendship and personal growth.

WHAT I"M LOOKING FOR:

I believe the strongest relationship are built on mutual care, emotional support, and spiritual connection. I'm seeking someone intelligent with a great sense of humor who can brighten my day, just as I hope to brighten yours. Rather than focusing solely on romance, I want to build a deep, lasting friendship that could grow into something more meaningful over time.

ABOUT ME:

I'm a man of faith currently facing a life sentence for murder - I believe in being upfront about my situation. I'm also battling cancer, but I refuse to let either challenge define my spirit or limit my capacity to care for others.

My time is spent in self-improvement mentally, spiritually, and emotionally and helping fellow inmates become their best selves. I understand both the physical wall of prison and the mental barriers that often lead us here. Despite my circumstances, I remain committed to growth, family, and giving back to my community.

WHAT I'M HOPING TO SHARE

I want to know everything about you - your pasions, dreams, relationship with faith, even your insecurities. In return, I'm eager to share my own journey, thoughts, and experiences. My hope is that these physical walls become just that - barriers only to our bodies, while our minds and souls connect beyond space and time.

MY RELIEF:

Genesis 1:31 reminds us that "God saw all that he had created was good." I truly believe something good can blossom from the right connection, even in the most unlikely circumstances.
